The services and perks are chargeable for the parents whose kids have to travel alone. Although a very low WestJet Unaccompanied Minor fee, which is $100, has to be paid by them. Moreover, this fee covers the cost of the special assistance that their children will have during the travel. Additionally, there will be some additional taxes that will be applicable to this fee.

At what age can a child fly alone on WestJet?

0-8 years: Kids of this age are considered to be too young to travel alone.

 8-12 years: For kids of this age group, it is mandatory to take the UMNR facility for solo travel.

12-17 years: They are treated as young travelers, and they can fly alone without the UMNR service.
